1. Dashboard

What it is for. The home screen. It answers "how much money came in, how much is still owed, how many quotes am I winning, and what just happened" without you opening anything else.

What you see. A greeting with your name and the date, then rows of cards. Every card is clickable and takes you to the page behind it.

  • Revenue trend β€” income over the last six months, as a line chart. Clicks through to Finance.
  • Invoice status β€” a donut of every invoice by state: Paid, Partially Paid, Overdue, Sent, Draft.
  • Monthly goal β€” this month's revenue against a target you set. The percentage is not capped, so 110% shows as 110% even though the gauge stops at full. Edit changes the target.
  • Revenue MTD, Estimate win rate, Average days to pay, Overdue β€” four figures with the change against last month.
  • Top clients and revenue by payment method.
  • Active estimates and active invoices, each broken into what is out and what is still a draft.

Worth knowing. Every number here reads the same tables as Reports, but over fixed periods. If a figure looks wrong, check Reports with an explicit date range before assuming the data is wrong.
