What it is for. The end-of-job defect list: small items that must be fixed or verified before closeout, each optionally tied to a job, an installer, a location on site and a photo.
What you see. A card per item, grouped by status, with counts in each column heading. Each card shows the description, the job, the location, who it is assigned to and a photo thumbnail if one was attached. Filters cover job, installer and status.
Creating one. The form asks for a description, the job, a location on site, an assignee, a due date, a priority and an optional photo. Only the description is genuinely required.
Changing one. Items are marked complete from the card itself. Delete does not ask for confirmation on this page β the first click removes the item. That is different from Tasks and Daily Logs, which both confirm.
What happens automatically. Nothing. Completing an item does not notify anyone and does not affect the job's status.
What it connects to. Jobs and Installers. Punch list items attached to a job appear on that job's page.
